Does the Brinn MCP connector require a paid plan?

The MCP connector is available to all Brinn users, including the free tier. You need a Brinn API key, which you can generate from Settings → Integrations in the Brinn web app.

What data does Brinn share with Claude via MCP?

Brinn shares your notes, entities, tags, and graph connections with Claude on demand. No data is sent proactively — Claude only retrieves content when you ask a question that requires it. Your Master Decryption Key never leaves your device.

Does the connector work with Claude API or only Claude Desktop?

The current connector is optimised for Claude Desktop. API-level MCP support for developers is on the roadmap — check the setup guide at /integrations/claude/setup for updates.

Can I revoke Claude's access to my knowledge graph?

Yes. You can revoke the API key at any time from Brinn's Settings → Integrations page, immediately cutting off Claude's access to your data.
